Luton produced a hugely disappointing performance during their 2-0 defeat at Millwall last night. Martin Cranie's own goal on the strike of half time and Connor Mahoney's goal with 12 minutes to go were enough for the Lions, who dominated the 90 minutes. To find out how the visitors rated on the evening, see below.
1. Simon Sluga: 6
Made an excellent save from Jed Wallace in the first half when the Lions attacker looked destined to score, with another decent stop from range as well. No real opportunity with either goal as the Lions dominated.
2. Martin Cranie: 4.5
Unlucky to see Smith’s header deflect off him and into the net for the opener. Made the odd foray forward, but quickly retreated and didn't block Mahoney's shot for Millwall's second. Went close late on, forcing Bialkowski into his only stop.
3. Rhys Norrington-Davies: 4
Apart from one decent cross in the second period, he could never reach the heights of previous matches as Millwall had plenty of joy whenever they got Romeo free on the right hand side, which was often.
4. Matty Pearson: 3.5
Struggled against the strength of Smith and lofted too many aimless long balls forward trying to locate Hylton, which was never going to work. Late back header to an opponent summed up his evening as he was replaced by Moncur.
