Luton suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to QPR on Tuesday night, as they lost their proud unbeaten record under the lights at Kenilworth Road. Goals from Charlie Austin and Macauley Bonne were enough for the visitors and to find out how Town's players rated on the evening, see below.
1. Simon Sluga: 4.5
No real chance with either goal as Town defended so poorly all evening. Made a decent stop with his legs from Dykes when the striker went through and his handling couldn’t be questioned.
2. James Bree: 3.5
Had nowhere near the same impact that he managed against Reading as could barely break over the half-way line in the opening 45 minutes. As ever found Osayi-Samuel a real test, but will hopefully benefit from the game time.
3. Dan Potts: 3
Struggled to stem the flow of crosses in the first half as Kane put in some good deliveries from his flank. Part of a back-line that looked iffy throughout and although he managed two shots, one was straight at Dieng with the other well over.
4. Tom Lockyer: 3.5
Couldn’t replicate the kind of solid showings he has produced in recent weeks at Kenilworth Road as QPR found so much space in the final third all night with Luton constantly on the back foot.
