Franks delighted to no longer be lone voice
The 23-year-old defender is delighted to have such a character alongside him after being a lone voice at former club Welling.
He said: “He’s a leader and I’ve probably been the leader at Welling and the only voice, so it’s nice to have someone that talks alongside me and can help bring me on.

Hide AdFranks made his debut in the 2-1 victory at Macclesfield and helped the Hatters to a clean sheet in the weekend’s 7-0 demolition of Hereford United.
And Franks knows he will face competition from the likes of Alex Lacey, Anthony Charles and Andy Parry for his place.
He added: “There’s competition for places in every position in this team so you can’t take your foot off the gas.
“I think I’ve done well, but I can’t rest on that I need to perform week in week out and hopefully be in that team because that’s where I want to be.”
