Jones unsure over decision to dismiss Potts
The left back picked up a harsh first booking in the second half, before receiving his marching orders from referee Lee Collins late on after tangling with Jordan Slew, the Argyle man shoving Potts to the ground in the aftermath.
When asked for his reaction, Jones said: “I don’t really know, I haven’t seen it. It wasn’t needed, it was in injury time, so whether it was a lack of discipline from him or a petty decision, I don’t know yet, so I can’t comment on it.”

Hide AdJones did criticise the Plymouth fans once more, as he had last season when Potts was jeered after having to leave the field on a stretcher.
He added: “What I did feel though, was two things again. I came here last year and every time we had an injury, they booed, we had a broken leg here last year and others that got seriously injured, Paddy McCourt didn’t really play for us after.
“Two injuries and they booed, I think that’s disrespectful, and they were it again.
“We’re not a side that cheats and I was a bit disappointed with that if I’m honest. But I don’t want anything to tarnish the day, it was a good day, but it’s a start, let’s not get carried away.”
