Disability cricket takes off in Bedfordshire
A Sportivate-funded cricket programme has been supplied to Pathfinder students at Barnfield College and they are in the process of providing a mixture of adapted Kwik Cricket and Table Cricket opportunities to students at Ivel Valley, Woodlands, St John’s, The Grange and The Chiltern Schools.
Weatherfield Special School is also in the process of setting up its own cricket club with support from the Satellite Club programme.

Hide AdTable Cricket has also been established for members of the Bedford and District Cerebral Palsy Society and service users of Kempston Day Centre.
Dave Lawson at The Grange School said: “The coaching with Year 8 was a great success.”
Ryan Gale at the Kempston Day Centre added: “I know the guys involved really enjoyed the Table Cricket and managed to get a lot out of it in their own personal way.
“I have received a lot of positive feedback and will continue to run the sessions.”
