ATHLETICS: Luton AC impress at County Cross-Country Championships
Many runners wore blue ribbons in memory of Luton Junior school cross country champion Gianni Khan, who tragically died over the Christmas period. The testing conditions on a waterlogged course suited Daniel Woodgate who led from start to finish to take the individual award, while Sean Still drew on his marathon training to finish in an excellent third.
Strong runs from Andrew McMulkin (fifth), Tom Mead (seventh), Stuart Still (13th) and Robin Hudson (30th) completed the scoring for Luton to take the team title.
