A trap had been laid by volunteers after a thermal camera spotted a dog near a field.
A volunteer posted: "She was found in a man's garden right where we saw her last night and where the trap was going to be.
"She was clearly just ready to give up. He'd seen her posters, phoned Maggie's owner, scooped her up and took her to the vets.
"We were there within 15 minutes."
