The lovable animals, which include dogs, cats, kittens, rabbits and birds, are currently in the care of the RSPCA and Feline Cat Rescue Luton, with many coming from tragic backgrounds. If you are looking to welcome a new furry friend into your home, the rescue centres will help you find your perfect match. Here are 13 animals that are still looking to be adopted.
1. Rocco
Rocco tragically arrived at the animal centre as part of a cruelty case, but is very gentle and enjoys being around people. He can live with children aged eight and over, and possibly a female dog, but no cats. He is showing signs of stiffness in his legs and back and will need to continue pain relief in his new home. 2. Eve
Eve is deaf and quite shy, but is slowly coming out of her shell. She loves to go for walks and is to be rehomed with Dasher, who she was found with. The pair would suit a family unit with children of 14 years and older. Contact RSPCA Southridge Animal Centre on 0300 123 0704 Photo: RSPCA
3. Dasher
Dasher is to be rehomed with Eve, who both require a quiet household with a large, secure garden. Training classes will also be essential as the pair are very strong when walked together and can be excitable. Contact RSPCA Southridge Animal Centre on 0300 123 0704 Photo: RSPCA
4. Coco and Chanel
Coco, aged two, and her female kitten Chanel, around 14 weeks old, came into RSPCA care as their owner could sadly no longer look after them. The pair need to be rehomed as a pair and are both friendly and out-going. Contact RSPCA Bedfordshire North Branch on 01234 266 965 Photo: RSPCA
