A woman has 21 days to appeal before her German Shepherd dog will be put down after it attacked two men in Henlow.

Luton Magistrates on Monday heard that Lucinda Blackburn aged 26, of Whitworth-Jones Avenue, Henlow, was the owner of the dog which had attacked two men in separate attacks on Whitworth-Jones Avenue on May 25 and 26, this year.

Ms Blackburn also received a 26 week jail term, suspended for 12 months for owning a dog which was dangerously out of control and has also been disqualified from keeping a dog for two years.

She pleaded guilty to the offences and was also fined a total of £2,067, including compensation to the victims.
