Huge knife and syringes found in Dunstable park during weapons sweep

They have been handed over to the police

Police and council workers in Dunstable have recovered a large knife and syringes during a weapons sweep of a park.

Today (February 14), Central Bedfordshire Council Safer Community Officers found the knife and six syringes while working Houghton Regis Community Policing Team at Priory Gardens. Nothing was found during a second sweep in Westminster Gardens in Houghton Regis.
