Luton AC finish solid 17th
In the men’s race of nearly 200 teams, Daniel Woodgate got the team off to a good start coming home in 13th place.
John McDonnell took over and ran a storming leg of 15.39mins over the 5km course to lift the team into third. Tom Mead (17.33mins) and Sean Still (17.46mins) then produced solid runs to see the team finish in 17th place.

Hide AdLuton’s ladies side just missed out on a top 20 position, finishing 22nd.
Rosie Keane matched the time of Revee Walcott-Nolan, with both clocking 11.32mins, while Claire McMahon recorded 11.36mins over the 3km course.
The Chiltern Cross-Country League resumes this weekend at Horspath Park, Oxford.
