Town chief Still tight-lipped over whether Gray has done enough to start against Macclesfield
Gray has twice stepped off the bench this season to galvanise Luton, earning penalties in both Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Southport and Tuesday’s 2-0 victory over Salisbury City.
On whether he would start against the Silkmen, Still said: “I’ll let you know on Saturday.”

Gray himself is keen to be involved in the game, saying: “I’ve just got to keep working hard and get my head down and try and not lose concentration and get frustrated with myself and the manager.
“But like I said it’s football and it’s going to happen at times if it’s not at the start, it’s going to be in the middle of the season, or at the end of the season I think, so it’s just football and I’m used to it.”
Experienced midfielder Solomon Taiwo, meanwhile, is looking for the Hatters to secure back-to-back wins to get their season firmly on track.

“I think we want to win every game and if we get back-to-back wins the following week we’ll take what we’ve got from the last two games and push on and hopefully it will become a habit.”
