Refreshed Wilkinson thinks Still made the right call
After Luton’s recent 2-0 defeat at Shrewsbury, Wilkinson was rested for the following 1-0 loss to Plymouth.
He has returned for Hatters’ last three games though, helping keep three clean sheets, with excellent personal displays at York and Cambridge in particular.

Hide AdWilkinson said: “I do think it’s helped me massively, I feel a lot more refreshed.
“Maybe in the Shrewsbury game, I was a bit tired towards the end, so missing that Plymouth game did me a lot of good, I think he’s managed me really there.
“I missed a bit of pre-season with a back problem, but I’m feeling fit now.
“Last year was frustrating when I was at Dagenham as I wasn’t the fittest.

With the three consecutive shut outs, Hatters are starting to show similar signs to last season, in which they kept a record number of clean sheets, and Wilkinson is well aware how valuable they are.
