Hide AdLuton made a bright start as Miller was stopped by Mark Phillips, before he failed to convert Wall’s dangerous cross.
Town youngster Daril Ngwala was then denied by keeper Joe McDonnell after going through one-on-one, with Hatters stopper Liam Gooch also called into action, deflecting Dan Agyei’s effort away.
Miller was foiled by McDonnell again, but Luton’s pressure finally told just before half-time when Luke Trotman’s through ball was emphatically finished by Miller.
After the break, Wimbledon almost levelled when Egli Kaja headed against the bar, while David Fitzpatrick then fired over.
