Luton produced one of their worst performances of the season as they were easily beaten 3-0 by Stoke City on Saturday. Nick Powell netted twice, with Steven Fletcher on target as the Hatters were well and truly second best throughout. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
1. Simon Sluga (STAR MAN): 6.5
Couldn’t do anything about the goals as he was left horribly exposed by his defence. Tried and failed to let one ball run out, but a stunning save from Vokes’ header and brave block from Clucas meant it wasn’t an even heavier defeat.
2. Martin Cranie: 2.5
Started as part of a three man defence, but with Town trying to find answers during the game, moved out to right back in the second period. Could never get to grips with the Stoke forwards as the visitors were well beaten.
3. Glen Rea: 1.5
A tough afternoon for the midfielder who was moved between defence and midfield throughout the 90 minutes. Passing was off from the word go, didn’t track Powell for the first and got in an awful mess as the Potters strolled in a third.
4. Sonny Bradley: 2
Big error for the all-important first goal as he played Fletcher onside, and then couldn’t cut out the pass before getting beaten too easily. Unable to stop Allen crossing for the second on a dismal day for Town’s skipper.
