Luton gave themselves a massive chance of staying in the Championship after beating fellow strugglers Hull City 1-0 on Saturday. Kazenga LuaLua came off the bench to score the winner with just five minutes to go and to find out how the hosts rated, see below.
1. Simon Sluga: 7
Had to deal with a few crosses in the first half, as he looked assured in the wet conditions. Barely troubled after the break though as he enjoyed a far quieter afternoon than he could have expected given the nature of the game.
2. James Bree: 8
Solid and assured on the right hand side, he made sure that deliveries into Towns box were few and far between after the break. Sent over two wonderfully inviting crosses of his own as well that almost led to Luton's opener.
3. Martin Cranie: 7.5
Began on the left hand side of defence after the injury to Potts and used all his experience to help Town ground out another clean sheet on the road. Late head injury forced him off in stoppage time.
4. Cameron Carter-Vickers: 8
Got through the game when it looked like at one stage in the first half he was struggling with a leg injury. Composed as always, he read the game expertly to prevent the Tigers from ever seriously testing Sluga
