Former Luton centre half Donervon Daniels has agreed a two year contract with League One side Crewe Alexandra.

The 26-year-old had moved to Kenilworth Road last summer, but was immediately loaned out to Doncaster Rovers.

He returned once his stint had finished and was handed a debut for Town in their 4-0 FA Cup defeat at Bournemouth.

Daniels went on to make another three appearances, netting in the 3-2 win over Derby, but didn't feature again after scoring an own goal in the 2-0 loss at West Bromwich Albion, as he wasn't offered a new contract in the summer.

Meanwhile, another ex-Hatter has a new club with midfielder Luke Rooney heading to Southern Counties East League Premier Division side Chatham Town.

The 29-year-old joined Luton in March 2014, playing 19 times and scoring five goals, before he was released a year later.

Since then, the former Swindon and Gillingham player has turned out for teams including Ebbsfleet United, Crawley Town, Phoenix Rising, Billericay Town and Welling United.
