He previously headed the youth section at Rushden where he oversaw the sales of the likes of Simeon Jackson, now at Premier League Norwich, and Lee Tomlin and Joe Day, who are now both at Peterborough.
Jordan McCann is the youth section’s new head sports scientist and will manage a team of four interns, while Joe Deeney will manage the U12 to U16 teams on a part-time basis.

Hide AdThree new part-time coaches have also been appointed with Ron Alfred, formerly of Wycombe Wanderers and Reading, looking after the U14s, A licence coach Robbie O’Keefe, who has been involved in local football, the U12s, and Dominic Haynes, formerly of Bournemouth and Southampton, the U10s.
Football development officer Gregg Broughton said: “I would like to thank all of our part-time staff for their loyalty and would like to welcome the new coaches to the club.”
