Cherries win appeal to rescind Lerma's red card against Luton
AFC Bournemouth have won their appeal to have midfielder Jefferson Lerma's red card rescinded following his dismissal against Luton Town on Saturday.
The Colombian international was sent off midway through the first half after catching Hatters defender Tom Lockyer in the face when challenging for a high ball, as although the centre half was left pouring with blood and eventually forced off with concussion, the collision looked accidental.

Hide AdIt was a decision that incensed Cherries boss Jason Tindall, with Town chief Nathan Jones admitting he would have been 'narked' if it had gone against his side.
After appealing a claim of wrongful dismissal, it was announced this afternoon that Bournemouth were successful and Lerma is now available to play Derby County on Tuesday evening.
