Hylton happy to be staying out of trouble
The forward, who is Town’s leading scorer with 22 goals this term, has already missed four matches due to a sending off against Doncaster, plus reaching five and then 10 bookings.
However, Hylton has now not seen yellow since the 1-1 draw at Grimsby some seven games ago, his best run since joining the club during the summer.

“He sat me down a few time and he said that he was a big, nasty centre half and he used to try and wind forwards up, hope they’d react.
“It’s just all about changing the balance and getting the ref on my side rather than against me.
“By not reacting, by not doing anything silly or throwing my arms around, I’m going to get refs on my side.

There was every chance for Hylton to react at Yeovil Town on Saturday as he had a running battle with centre half Bevis Mugabi, while home supporters were quick to barrack Town’s number 10, as has become the norm at most away grounds now.
On just why it keeps happening, a bemused Hylton continued: “You tell me! I don’t know if it’s a little bit of a reputation thing, but I’ve not done anything.
“It seems the fans are on me a little bit and seems like the players, I don’t know if they’re told that I might react or do something if I’m getting pulled, I’m getting kicked, I’m getting trod on off the ball.

“I’m not going to do anything silly.
“Once or twice this season I’ve let myself down a little bit, but I can assure you I won’t do anything silly.
“The more they keep winding me up, just makes me want to score more.”
Boss Nathan Jones once again showed just what a high regard he has for Hylton as when asked for his thoughts on the striker’s performance, he added: “They (Yeovil fans) thought Danny Hylton was a pantomime villain again.

“Now he goes down, he gets fouls, he gets fouled because he is that good, he is the best in the league.
“It’s easy for home fans to have a go and get at things, and sometimes I want Danny to avoid those kind of things.
“But he was magnificent and I think it was a magnificent centre forward’s performance.”
