Brooks makes history as Stockwood thump St Neots
A mixture of sleet and rain, combined with some inconsistent refereeing, made for a generally scrappy game but Park’s superiority in the scrums and capable handling in difficult conditions created their platform for the victory.
Park went into an early 5-0 lead with a well taken try by left wing Ieuan Beale before Brooks scored his three tries in no time at all, one converted by fellow centre Steve Pollock.

With the wind behind them in the second half, Park took control and further tries were added by flanker Michael Powell, right wing Alex Harnett – who was competitive throughout – and fly half James Hankey.
Pollock converted two of these tries as Park finished with a 41-14 victory.
Stockwood’s next league fixture is at home on March 19 against fourth-placed Northampton Casuals, who are themselves still in the promotion hunt.”
