BOWLS: Cash boost for Luton Indoor BC
The club, based at the Co-op Sports Ground, Stockingstone Road, Luton, has been awarded £74,561 to upgrade the facilities at the Bowls Club which will improve the Club for all age groups in Luton and surrounding areas and enable them to participate in the sport of bowls.
The improvements consist of new carpet and also upgrading the club premises.

Hide AdLuton IBC chairman, Doug Smith, said: “We are delighted to have secured this investment, which means we can upgrade the quality of our premises to enable more local people to take up the game of bowls.”
The announcement comes as Sport England revealed that it has reached a major funding milestone – having invested £5 billion in grassroots sport in the last 20 years.
Since 1994, Sport England has made tens of thousands of investments – totalling £5 billion.
