Young man killed in Toddington collision named by police

Police have identified the young man killed in the collision between a car and heavy goods vehicle in Toddington yesterday.

Charles Glancy, 22, lived in the town and died at the scene after his black Volkswagen Passat collided with the vehicle on Harlington Road.

Police are appealing to witnesses to the fatal collision that happened at around 6.25am.

PC Andy Ralph said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in this area, near the entrance to the M1 at Junction 12, at this time.

“Any information can assist our investigation into how this young man tragically lost his life.”
