There is damage to overhead electric wires
All lines between Luton and Bedford stations are currently blocked, Thameslink has confirmed.
The company was made aware of damage to the overhead electric wires and is currently working with Network Rail to assess the extent of the damage.
Rail replacement buses have been requested.
It looks like disruption will continue until 8pm (Monday).
