Andrew Selous steps down as Prisons Minister
Mr Selous, who was appointed to the role by David Cameron in July 2014, said: “It has been an enormous honour to serve in this role for the last two years and a privilege to champion the work of our inspirational prison officers, probation staff and wonderful voluntary sector partners.
“They are amazing people who do their work often unseen and unappreciated.”

Hide AdHe added: “I have served continuously as a Parliamentary Private Secretary,Whip and Minister in both in Opposition and in Government for the last 13 years and it has been a huge honour to serve my country in this way.
“I look forward to having the time to take up many issues which I care about deeply and to continue serving my constituents.”
